PARAMETRIC FURNITURE VISUAL DOCUMENTATION

The furniture I designed can be called a Gold-wrapped Jade table set. My inspiration is from a kind of jade from my home town, which is a kind of five-colored Jade. While it also has a name that means Gold-wrapped Jade, I was inspired by this Jade and decided to make a table and chair.

The style of my furniture was inspired by MCM (Mid Century Mordern). This style is my favorite style, so I designed a set of tables in public, like in the park or back yard of the house.

My design is located outside and this can be a characteristic of my design since I notice lots of MCM furniture is inside the house. Since I designed a table and chair, and I want to make it light to carry around, but at the same time, they are settled. My intended audience is for the public, I think. I don't mind anyone resting on this set of elegant tables and chairs and enjoying their day.

  4. The base is so detailed, having the glass-top is smart too because it really highlights the intricate base!

  5. The super intricate design of the base really brings an air of elegance to this whole piece, and the jade coloured glass on top of it really just adds even more to the piece!

  6. Very unique design to have such a delicate base on a set of table and chairs! The first thing I notice is that it almost appears precarious as if the base is too fine to support the large pieces at the top. Which is something I have never seen before, very cool idea!

  7. Cool and intricate. It looks like you could make a really nice set with these. And your chair design could also become a table too. like a coffee table or a side table. I'd consider some kind of flat circle or bumper around the bottom of the design because all those little points look like they could bend up or scratch the floor. Otherwise really cool design.

  8. Yayi. I can see that you changed your design a bit, but I like this one much better. I like the way you create the texture for your design.

  9. Very exquisite tea table and chair, but the middle part of the table is floating, you might want to trun it upside down when you printing it.

  10. Yayi! I love the spinning animation!!! I can totally see your style in this design! I also love the contrast between the complexity between the base and the simplicity of the green transparent surface!

  11. Yayi, you made a very pretty design! The materials you chose for the renders look elegant. If you were to make this design at full-scale, would you want to make it out of similar materials? Or would you try to look for more affordable and weather-resistant options? I'd love to hear more.

Keep up the good work! :)
