3D-PRINTED CHESS SET

 

For this project I found a lot of intereste for the 3d printing, while kind of sad we don't have more time to experience more. I really appreciate the process of doing this project. Before, this project I am interested by the chess even though I don't know how to play it. My initial thought for designing my chess set is making the portrait for each character in the chess set. 

While I realized it is kind of difficult for me to make them all in just two weeks, especially including the time for 3d printing. Therefore, based on peer-review I received last week (they suggested that it is kind of hard to make the whole portrait with human head and the only way I can do is polyface, which will take quite of time), I changed my design and decided to make a set of screw-like chess. And I did some design based on each character. 

They are Pawn, Bishop, Rook, Knight, Queen, King.
